Mom Owned and Operated began as a passion project born from a desire to connect with other moms as Rita faced personal turmoil. It was a way to focus on the inspiring stories of how other women were balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship. Through the years, the podcast took a few breaks to allow for personal growth and reflection.

As it evolved, it became clear that moms craved more than just stories and self-care tips – they needed actionable strategies to build profitable, sustainable businesses.
